PLACEHOLDER — not reviewed by an attorney. Replace before publishing.

This policy describes what information marshalong.com collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only, not to third-party sites we link to.

Information we collect

Contact form. When you send an inquiry, we collect your name, email address, event date, and anything you choose to write in the message field.

Guest book. If you leave a reflection, we collect the name, event, and message you submit.

Cookies. Small text files that remember your preferences (including your cookie choices) and, if you allow it, help us understand how the site is used.

Analytics. Anonymized page views, referring source, device type, and approximate location — only when you have allowed analytics cookies.

How we use it

To reply to your inquiry, coordinate performances, improve the website, keep the site secure, and comply with law. Inquiry details are read only by Marsha and anyone she asks to help her respond.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & tracking

You can choose what categories of cookies are set on your device. Essential cookies are always on because the site does not function without them. Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default.

Change your choice at any time by opening the cookie preferences.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of providers, each with its own policy:

  • YouTube — embedded videos. No tracking cookies are set until you click to load a video and marketing cookies are allowed.
  • Social platforms — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Yelp, and similar links. These sites collect data under their own policies once you follow a link.
  • Lovable Cloud — hosts the website and the inquiries database.
  • Resend — delivers confirmation and notification email for the contact form.
  • Payment processor — if we add checkout for recordings in the future, card data is handled entirely by the processor. We never see or store card numbers.

Your choices & rights

You can ask us to:

  • Confirm what information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete information we no longer need to keep
  • Stop using your information for a specific purpose

Write to marsha@marshalong.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

California privacy rights

If you live in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to have it deleted, to correct it, and to limit how sensitive information is used. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information — opens your cookie preferences.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.

Data retention

Inquiries are kept as long as needed to answer them and to keep records of past engagements. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form. Guest book entries stay published until removed by request.
