Dr. Marsha Long is a San Diego-based harpist, soprano and recording artist. She holds two Master's degrees and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the Juilliard School and a Diplôme de Concertiste from France's Conservatoire National de St. Maur. She sings in fourteen languages, performs on sixteen instruments, and has recorded on the great pipe organs of St. John the Divine.

Dr. Marsha Long is a San Diego-based harpist, soprano and recording artist whose career has taken her from cathedrals with ninety-foot ceilings to concert halls on three continents. She holds two Master's degrees and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the Juilliard School, and a Diplôme de Concertiste from France's Conservatoire National de St. Maur, earned with highest honours. She sings in fourteen languages — Latin, English, Hungarian, Italian, Spanish, Gaelic, French, German, Polish, Lebanese, Yoruba, Tagalog, Greek and more — and performs on sixteen instruments, including concert and Celtic harp, the great pipe organs of St. John the Divine, NYU and St. Columba Cathedral, Steinway pianos in both the U.S. and Hamburg, harpsichord, Hungarian cimbalom, Egyptian kanoon, African xylophone and talking drum. Almost uniquely among harpists, she sings while she plays. Her recordings include "Ave Maria: The Universal and Timeless Hymn" (Alba House Publishers), "An Angel Christmas," "Angel Rhapsody," and "Romantic French and German Organ Music from St. John the Divine." She performs regularly for weddings, liturgies, memorials and concerts across Southern California, and is a returning artist at Mission San Juan Capistrano's Christmas programming.
